A Brief History and Background
We are lovers of French faience.
This affection for hand painted earthenware from France, and more specifically from Quimper, began in 1994. We became dealers in 1999 and this logical progression has enabled us to share our joy of these products with hundreds of other people. In fact, this love of French faience inspired us to co-found The Quimper Club International.

Who are we?
Lucy Williams is a French faience 'nut'. You can easily see her love of all things faience because in 1999, Lucy and friend Katie Sledge worked together to co-found the Quimper Club International. Dick, her very tolerant husband, is a retired university professor of mathematics and computer science. Both are also serious amateur musicians. Lucy plays the oboe! Dick plays the clarinet!
